From the 1st of January – the minimum wage increases

The amount of the minimum wage is depending on the type of occupation and will increase from 480 € till 960 € since January 2018. Every employer is obliged to classify every job position according to level of difficulty stipulated by Labor Code.

Minimum wage of the 1st level of difficulty will be 480 €.

The minimum wage for the other levels of difficulty will be derived from this amount. To get minimum wage, the amount 480 € shall be multiplied by coefficient of minimum wage according Labor Code.

The minimum hourly wage rate increases to 2,759 EUR per hour.
