"Marriage and Family Reunion of Non-EU Foreigners in Slovakia": Webinar Recording

We would like to share with you the recording of the webinar about marriage and family reunion, organized by IOM MIC on December 10 (in English).
The webinar focused on the family life of foreigners in Slovakia, especially on the requirements for granting a residence permit to a foreigner who married a Slovak citizen, or to a family member who wishes to reunite with another foreigner in Slovakia. It is intended for foreigners from non-EU/EEA countries.

- What to know about the entering into a marriage between a Slovak citizen and a foreign national in Slovakia
- Acquiring permanent residence for five years after the marriage with a Slovak citizen
- Acquiring temporary residence for the purpose of family reunion
You will find out what conditions you must meet in order to reunite with a family member with granted residence in Slovakia, what documents shall be submitted before the wedding ceremony in Slovakia, or what is the procedure for granting a permanent residence for five years after marrying a Slovak citizen.
