Entrepreneurship is a continuous activity carried on independently by an entrepreneur in his own name and on his own responsibility with the purpose of gaining profit.
If you intend to do business in Slovakia, it is essential to be granted residence which allows you to do so. Note that not all types of residence allow you to do business in Slovakia.
Regulated professions refer to professions which are to some extent regulated by laws or administrative regulations and rules. The regulation is usually achieved through authorized private institutions, professional associations, central government or local administration authorities. Regulated professions include for instance doctors, accountants, architects etc.
