Change of minimum subsistence level from 1 July 2024

From the 1st of July 2024 the minimum subsistence level changes from EUR 268.88 to EUR 273.99. 

The stay of a foreigner in the territory of the Slovak Republic must be at least a minimum subsistence level for each month of stay when applying for residence permit (from 1st of July equals to EUR 273.99 per month). 

If the length of stay is longer than one year, it is required to provide financial coverage 12 times the minimum subsistence level (from 1st of July it is EUR 3 287.88).

The minimum subsistence level equals EUR 268.88 is valid until 30th of June 2024.
